Audio quality is BAD for this one ….

      Dr. Tom

Hi, Alex. Dr. Keech was speaking to me all the way from New Zealand and we experienced some technical difficulties. We have provided the slides to ensure that all the main points are clear to viewers. Please excuse the interference and enjoy the interview!

        Franklin Sterns

Hi Dr Tom, I am particularly interested in buying Dr. Keech’s product in powder, spray and capsule or tablet. What are the names of the brands his product appears in. THANX.

    Steven Anthony

How long can one take colostrum? Milk has detrimental protein called casein. Do colostrum contain casein??

      Loren Ziem

I’m not sure about how long you can take colostrum. I got the impression here that what we don’t use immunologically would be broken down and digested. Casein free colostrum is available on some websites, but I can’t vouch for it — in any case this first-day colostrum should be low in casein. Good luck.

Thank you so very much for this wonderful intervieuw. I learned so much and I am going to try it out! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Um… he says all mammals need this but apparently it’s being denied to the calves as the colostrum is robbed from their mothers. If the colostrum was taken from the mothers of the cows they take the colostrum from then it’s coming from cows that have not had their own “lights” (immune system) turned on. 🙁

      sharon

No, no, not to worry. Cows typically overproduce colostrum so the calves are sharing…

Interesting presentation. I’m very curious to know if there are any studies or data collection done re: having been breastfed as an infant and the development of autoimmune problems and leaky gut as an adult? I was formula fed and now have a leaky gut, food allergies and autoimmune issues, We all are educated on the importance of breastfeeding for our baby’s immune system and to prevent childhood allergies, but has anyone studied/collected data into adulthood? I.e. if I had been breastfed at birth would I be having these issues now? What are the statistics of formula fed babies developing autoimmune/gut issues later in life?

          Bibi

I am 69 and was breast fed during the war. I have suffered gut issues for a long time and am intolerant to almost all foods now so we can’t always blame the lack of mothers’ milk for our problems in later life. I know for a fact that my food intolerances were brought about by a severe emotional shock I suffered a few years back which I am certain sent my poor old body into complete confusion as to how to process food. I am going to try colostrum, having read some excellent reviews on it (apart from the taste!). Here’s a UK sports website I found with the reviews posted for those in the UK who object to high postage rates: http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/ultra-colostrum-30-igg/10530738.html

          Margo

I don’t know about studies. But my personal experience is that I was breastfed and I have leaky gut and autoimmune disease too. I have been ill all of my life even as an infant.

Excellent interview. I have one concern. Dr. Keech said they supplement the cow’s diet with oils – specifically rapeseed (canola) and cottonseed. Both of these oils are GMO (at least the majority grown in the US/Canada are). Any comments on this?

      Donna

That is not good and I have been attending the GMO Summit too. I try to avoid this like the plague but it is all around us. I know Daniel Vitalis sells a colostrum product and I am sure it has to be GMO free if David Wolfe recommends this. I just checked his website and it is out of stock right now. I have never tried his product but after listening to this doctor, I might be interested in taking it. I will check this doctor’s product out too.

      Pat

I am correcting my comment on rapeseed. Rapeseed is the original seed before they bombarded the seed with radioactivity & it became know as canola which I believe is a mutagenic change. Canola started as a mutagenic change and has now been GMO’d! My cottonseed comment still stands unless he is specifically using NON-GMO, which he did not mention & Dr. O’Brian did not ask!

    Michele

I’m not certain if I’m entered or not. Instructions are confusing. Also, since this is the only non-facebook/twitter place I’ve found to leave a comment (how I got here when I was just trying to enter the give away, I don’t know), I have other things to say. During JJ Love’s presentation, it was mentioned that there was a free giveaway of some recipes on the presenters page (may have been called something else). Couldn’t find it anywhere. Perhaps links, web addresses, etc listed with the presenter’s bio? Also, would help to have more contrast on the presenters page. It’s fine if reading in a dark/dim room but not so fine in daylight. Many of the presentations are excellent. Thanks. But this website ….?!?!

    Linda

If this is pasturized, how can it be any different than dead milk from the store? If the cows are fed vitamins, how can we be sure they’re not gmo vitamins?

      Loren Ziem

I wanted to hear these questions in the presentation too. I looked into pasteurization a bit myself, and there seems to be a large body of information on the specifics of pasteurizing colostrum. It does seem like most of the quality is retained through knowledgeable pasteurization processes, but I can’t find specifics on colostrum for human use.

    Denise

    Where can we buy this?

      Alison

I found Dr. Keech’s PRP/Colostrum spray on Amazon. It’s called Immulox and here is the link: http://amzn.to/1e8h5ON

      Bill

You can find them at http://www.thedr.com under GS-Immuno PRP Spray: http://www.thedr.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=34&category_id=10&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=30

I’m one of Dr. O’Bryan’s Certified Gluten Practitioners (CGP). I purchase these products and send all of my clients to purchase these products here: http://goo.gl/liwjr5. Dr. Keech’s colostrum is of the highest quality and is only available through healthcare professionals. This is how the general public can purchase it. It is available in the Advanced GS-Support Program or you can purchase the products individually: GS- Immuno PRP Spray 5.0, GS Immuno Restore Capsules or GS Immuno Restore Powder I am told that Dr. O’Bryan will be reviewing this in his closing comments for The Gluten Summit.

    Susan

A very interesting interview. Is any part of the colostrum eg. the supplements, produced from a GM product?

    Kathy

Amazing presentation! The audio quality was jumpy. I too would like to know where I can purchase the product. Thank you for organizing this summit.

Audio Quality was not so good…information is great.

Does this product contain lactose? Besides my gluten sensitivity I lack the enzyme to split the dissacharide lactose. This is very different from an allergy to milk component.

    Donna

For those who don’t tolerate dairy at all, this product is excellent. I never tried the Colostrum but have used their Double Bonded Goat Protein. http://www.mtcapra.com/capracolostrum/ They are close to where I live but Amazon sells this too.

    Jodie

Very interesting talk, also a compelling argument for breastfeeding for first few days if possible. I’m learning that leaky gut is a very complex, and complicated issue and WHY.

    Lee

Good presentation, but a shame there is no clear link or info. on where to get this product, there is no mention of it on his interview and the link only brings us to his book. We need a clear link to his products on this page please, to make sure we are reaching the right one. Lots of confusion on how to get it.

      sharon

2 sizes of spray is on Amazon, under the brand name Immulox. Not yet located the distributor for Immulox powder, but did find the manufacturing facility by Googling “Andrew Keech”

        Lee

Thanks Sharon, I googled it too, but not clear where to purchase. Great info. in this Summit. Thanks Dr. O’Bryant, but please clarify how to purchase over the counter, and not through a practitioner. Thanks.

I have taken Transfer Factors for 12 years – Derived from colostrum and egg yolk. Super more effecient and concentrated over colostrum. In the PDR for 8 years as well.

    Lee

What is the exact name and company of his products and where to buy it (powder and spray), I only want his brand, is it available to the general public? Why so little clarity about purchasing it on the Gluten Summit page Dr. Tom O’Bryan? Too bad, very important info. for health, people will give up trying to purchase both of these products.

How is colostrum different from the product Immunocal produced in Vaudreuil-Dorion Quebec, or are they the same? Would you know?

    Anne

I use Immunocal, and would also be interested in how this is different.

    Susan Ford Collins

What is the product name and spray name and where do I buy them?

Quality not great and I’d love to know how to get ahold of his products. All I can find is the APS info site, not a company to buy from.

    Lawana Towner

I am wondering if I should be taking probiotics along with the colostrum and the peptide spray.

    Jon

It does not look like his product, APSBiogroup, are available over the counter. I do not see a way to order them direct. He did mention to take a certain amount of the Colostrum for 6 weeks to see if it works. I would be interested in tracking down a recommended approach.

    Carol

I’d like to buy Dr. Keech’s products also. I have read the above comments and also wonder why a link is not provided.

    Kathy

Thank you for this interview. If possible PLEASE let us all know exactly where we can purchase it from or how I can obtain it. Thank you kindly.

    Dr. Jennifer Stephens

Where can we purchase Dr. Keech’s products?

    Lawana Towner

I am wondering where we can order the colostrum and peptide spray? Side note: the audio at many time during the video was hard to understand due to the sound, what I am going to call thick sounding.

    Kelcey Reina

I have a question about the polypeptide spray. Can the small polypeptides get through a leaky gut and mimic hormones? For example, a strip of amino acids Ser-Tyr-Set-Met would mimic ACTH – the hormone which stimulates the adrenal gland. An 8 amimo acid fragment could act like glycogen and so deplete glycogen (sugar) stores in the liver. Thanks!

wonderful information, and for all you grandparents tell your daughters and daughter in laws how important it is to BREAST FEED their babies!

    davidrn

I have been drinking raw (bovine) milk colostrum for a couple of years, with good lab results to back this up. I had been buying raw milk from a local (grass) fed dairy, and discovered, from the owner, that they were very careful with newly delivered cows to save extra Colostrum after the calves feed, in case of any problems with other new calves. I buy a half gal frozen, for $5, and defrost one about every 3 or 4 weeks. I make it into a smoothie, and a half gal lasts me about a week. I have also in past made raw milk colostrum Kefir, has even more health benefits. Raw milk is only available in states where its legal, I drive only 10 miles, to the dairy, and can’t complain about the cost or time, its been worth it.

Another fantastic session! I am learning so much as a patient. Thank you!

    Rita

Very helpful and helps you know how to improve you diet . Eating healthier Aware of what is in the food that is not healthy.

      Julia

I was hoping someone would say something… thank you for being that someone. It does sadden me to see how “successful” the campaign has been to squeeze more from the probably already financially drained ill or fearful of becoming ill. Nothing (as it stands now) will stop these people, which is why each individual has to become as aware as possible to assert the little justice and sense of moral responsibility left in life.

    TeeC

Terrible – just a sales pitch cloaked in some basic information without any evidence or studies to back it up. Dr Keech’s own words, “just try it, it really does work, it’s great.” Well thanks for your assurance, where are the studies???

    Janis Romme

Rape plants are considered toxic. Also, are the cows receiving non GMO rapeseed oil?

    Robin

Absolutely wonderful! Learning so much from this summit – THANK YOU! ~ a proud NZer

    Gisela

Cottonseed and rapeseed oils! Really? The only thing left to say is:” NO,THANK YOU!” And by the way, grass fed cows will produce CLA naturally. Feeding grain will reduce the production of CLA! Information was very good otherwise!!

    Tony

Dr Keech goes through the details of how much his production system is reliant on barn housed (feedlot) stock, fed harvested grasses which are nutrient deficient, so are then feed supplemented with oils and other products that are likely GMO and then he has the cheek to state that “even New Zealand” dairy cows are administered antibiotics as a matter of course. Like Dr Keech I too am from NZ and can vouch that our dairy industry while not being ‘squeaky clean’ is well above the 1,000+ herds he speaks of in terms of animal wellbeing. Definitely not one of the better presentations of the Summit!

    Christina

Why do we pasterize milk??? Raw milk maybe more beneficial.

    Gail

This is awesome news, so grateful for Dr. Andrew Keech’s dedication. Cotton Seed Oil was mentioned as a supplement, however earlier in the week Cotton Seed Oil was mentioned to be avoided since it is a GMO. Is this Colostrum considered Organic? Must you have a prescription or see a doctor in order to purchase this Colostrum?

    lorraine

Never heard of this info before and I just retired from 47 years of Nursing!. How I am being educated this week is incredible! I became a vegetarian a few years ago and since then have continued to educate myself about nutrition. After listening all week I really believe in going 0 gluten and wish I could get other people around me to see the value in these basic changes to the way we are eating. No wonder there are so many terrible chronic diseases in society . We need education! Thx again for all of this info!

    Jess

I work with premature babies in a NICU. While there is an abundance of research supporting the benefits of a newborn receiving his or her own mothers’ colostrum, the same does not hold true for donor colostrum as the makeup of colostrum, from an immune standpoint, is individualized for a specific mother-child dyad. Because of this, I am having a difficult time understanding how bovine colostrum can be of benefit to humans. I was also unable to find any peer-reviewed studies of the usage of bovine colostrum in patients with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity on pubmed.gov. Where are the studies and research? Can you share links? I am really trying to understand this topic. Thank you!

    Sarah

Thank you for this amazing interview! I would like to ask why the cows are being fed rapeseed oil and cottonseed oil? Rapeseed oil to my understanding is poisonous to the body because it contains high amounts of the toxic erucic acid. Canola oil (which we know is GMO) is made from rapeseed oil. And cottonseed oil is a GMO and one of the most pesticide laden crops. So I don’t understand how these oils can be healthy to feed to the cows and then given to people via the colostrum. Are these oils Organic and non GMO? That was not addressed in the interview. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond to all these questions!!

    Christine

Awesome Info. Where to find the product? Colon cleanse first was not mentioned?

      Bibi

Yes, I agree with you about the importance of a colon cleanse first to ensure the nutrients have a chance of getting through! Of all the interviews I’ve listened to so far, I can’t recall anyone mentioning this important step.

    Ginger

Dr. Keech mentioned that the cows that produce colostrum are fed Rapeseed oil otherwise known as Canola oil and Cottonseed oil which are GMO crops. Wouldn’t this be an important concern when consuming his colostrum powder and PRP spray?

    Erin

I took notes on this, but am not sure about his recommended 6-week protocol for healing the gut. I thought he said 5 to 10 grams a day for six weeks, but when I looked at the spray it said 8 mg per four sprays. When I worked it out, that would be going through approximately 10 bottles in the six-week period. Is this accurate, or did I make a mistake in my notes?
